Justice Patricia Henry was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2018.
Justice Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1988. Apart from two years spent in London, her Honour practised at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons) until her appointment to the Bench.
Over her 30 years of practice, her Honour developed a reputation as a leading telecommunications, competition and consumer law litigator. She became a partner at Mallesons in 1997, and later became a member of that firm's board. She has held a number of key leadership positions at the firm including Practice Team Leader of the National Competition Law Team, Senior Partner in Dispute Resolution, Staff Partner, Recruitment Partner and National Equal Opportunity Partner.
