Dr Elizabeth Boros has a commercial practice at the Victorian bar, specialising in corporations law and trusts.
Before being called to the Bar, Elizabeth held the Sir Keith Aickin Chair of Company Law at Monash University and was a consultant in the corporate group at Ashurst in Melbourne. She is the author of Minority Shareholders' Remedies, the co-author of Corporate Law , and has taught subjects including Corporations Law, Corporate Governance and Directors' Duties, Shareholders' Remedies, Equity and Trusts at Melbourne and Monash Universities and continues to teach Shareholders' Remedies in the LLM at Sydney University, where she is an Adjunct Professor.
Elizabeth chairs the Victorian Legal Admissions Academic Course Appraisal Committee. She is also on the executive of the Commercial Bar Association of Victoria and a member of the Corporations Committee of the Law Council's Business Law Section. Former roles include terms as a director of ASX Supervisory Review Pty Ltd, as an External Expert to the Law Department at the London School of Economics, and as a member of the Corporations and Markets Advisory Committee and its Legal Committee, the executive of the Law Council's Business Law Section and of the Victorian Council of Legal Education.
