Consultative Forum a great success

7 December 2016

Legal regulators, solicitors and consumer advocates came together for the final LSC Consultative Forum of the year, in Sydney on Thursday 1 December 2016.

Participants shared valuable insights into how consumers can be best informed about their legal costs, consistent with the objectives of the Uniform Law.

One of the key roles of the Council is to consult widely with stakeholders. This helps us to find ways to best administer the Uniform Law for the benefit of consumers, the legal profession and the public generally.

Three consultative Forums have now been held since the Uniform Law commenced. All have been informative and highly productive and we will continue to reach out by this and other means.

We want to thank all involved. The outcomes of the Forum will inform the Council's activities in 2017.
